Senior Material Group Manager for Carbon Steel (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

You will be working as part of an agile development team and contributing to the company’s success with your innovative working style. Exciting tasks and projects await you, such as

• Global Material Group Manager for Carbon Steel in EU (PVO 170 mio €)
• Lead negotiations and finalize contracts for assigned materials; Select appropriate negotiation strategies, conduct negotiations
• Lead initiatives and achieve target costs by conducting thorough analyses of cost structures, identifying, and implementing
• Accountable for achievement of MPC targets by proactively monitoring market trends, negotiating competitive pricing with supplier
• Initiate, plan and monitor material price developments, by co-driving the ratio measures together with development

Your profile

• Technical/commercial university degree (e.g. Business Administration, Industrial Engineering)
• Appropriate and multi-annual professional experience
• Technical and market background in Steel
• Competence and experience at Steel Service Centers or Steel Mills is valuable in this position
• Advanced English and German skills are important
